The questions and answers below aim to give an even more in depth understanding of SVUK, who we are, and our offer. What does Savoir Vivre mean?Savoir Vivre means the ability to live life well and with intelligent enjoyment, meeting every situation with poise, good manners, and elegance. Our name is our business ethic. How do you pronounce Savoir Vivre?Quite easy really, it's French of course and phonetically it goes like this... sav-whar-vee-vruh. Where is SVUK based? We are based in London but operate for clients throughout the UK and Europe. Our virtual services allow us to act on behalf of clients irrespective of their location. Most of our client site work takes place in London however project costs are available for locations further afield (such as Manchester, Glasgow, Paris etc). What can SVUK do for our clients? To get a good idea of what we do please visit our Business Support and Lifestyle Management pages. If you need something done that's not listed on these pages please do not hesitate to contact us. Chances are we can do it for you or if we can't we will be able to advise and recommend someone who can. How much do SVUK services cost? For a broad idea of our costs please visit our rates page. We like to maintain a flexible approach to our costs and provide our clients cost effective solutions on an individual basis, depending on project type and ongoing business relationship. Is there a minimum contract term?Clients can use SVUK on an ad hoc basis without minimum contract terms and payable in advance. This is specially tailored for one off needs such as key holding and house sitting for deliveries, repairs etc. For longer term business support and lifestyle management we offer a simple rolling one month contract with 15 day payment settlement terms. What are the main benefits of using SVUK?We think its difficult to keep this one short, but if we had to sum this up we would say using SVUK is all about employing our knowledge and expertise as and when you need it. We help you keep those employment costs down whilst at the same time providing professional high quality solutions. What do we mean by saying "keeping employment costs down"?Employing permanent staff is usually quite costly especially when you consider that it's not just the employee's wages you have to account for. The reality is that most candidates are looking for full or part time permanent contracts and it may be that whilst you need the resource you may not need it all the time. Together with wages, taxes, national insurance, holiday pay/cover, maternity and sickness pay/cover plus all of that employee management, bringing someone into your team can be a bit of a hassle. SVUK provides all the benefits of employing professional individuals but with none of the long term commitment of a permanent employee. |
